Manpower Allocation

How did we mobilize manpower to help in the project? We would like to present an overview here.

Firstly, we needed to find an external partner to help us to increase publicity; therefore, we turned to the zoo for help. We went to the zoo to discuss the various ways we can help the zoo and how they could help us in this project.

Next, we start to rope in people from our school to help us and to raise awareness of protecting the endangered amphibians. We managed to talk to various Co-Curricular Activity groups to help us and they agreed to help us with the zoo activities like the Raffles Voices with singing, the Guitar Ensemble on 29th Feb with music which was also the Leap-frog Day at the zoo, the Interact Club with frog-based activities to publicize at the Zoo, and the Art Club with frog face-painting events.

Thirdly, a survey was conducted on 29th February 2008 on a sample of eighty respondents. This survey was conducted with the aim of examining public perceptions and awareness of the plight of amphibians, where we have surveyed both locals and foreigners. Feedback from the public was also duly sought.
