Effects on the extinction of amphibians

There are many harmful effects if amphibians go extinct, all the more increasing the need for us to be more cautious with the things we do pertaining to the environment.  Firstly, the extinction of a single species will cause an important slice of the ecosystem to be cut off, which may not be able to be filled in by other animals. This is will tilt the natural balance that has been placed for eons, eventually leading to endangerment or extinction of other species.

Also, an amphibian’s extinction is vast potential as a source of bioactive or pharmaceutical products. All these have very harmful effects on us, no matter where on this planet we live in.

The importance of amphibians is evident throughout the world. They are major components of their ecosystem, both predator and prey. They are food for several human cultures. Interest in them ranges from their aesthetic appeal to their use as a source of arrow poison. They are of considerable importance to science, furnishing material for study of cell function, genetics, and development. If these amphibians were left to go extinct, what would the world be like?
