Global Awareness on endangerment of Amphibians

How do we save amphibians from extinction? The situation is currently very critical and if nothing is done, all amphibian species will soon be extinct.

Firstly, conservation messages can be spread over the Internet and through advertisements. The Internet will be able to spread the urgent message to the world rapidly. Zoos all over the world can organize fund raising events to educate volunteers as well as the people who donate to the fund. Zoos can help further by organizing activities to get students involved. Educating students from young is always the best method – tried and tested.
Advertisements over the Internet or newspaper can also educate people around the world about the current situation. Interactive websites especially, will appeal to more people and messages can be spread through games and videos.

As a last resort, endangered amphibians can be kept in conservation parks or man-made habitats for humans to monitor the growth and development of amphibians and at the same time, protect them from illegal poaching by hunters.

If all of these are done, there is a possibility that amphibians will no longer be classified under the endangered category and be saved from the harmful activities and effects of humans.
