Here on this website you will find out many facts about the horrors of smoking—the things that tobacco companies don’t tell you. People start smoking when they are under tremendous amounts of peer pressure, stress, depression, and/or lack of activity. When these people start this nasty habit, they are not only putting themselves at risk of obtaining minor effects such as bad breath, yellow teeth, or ugly hair, but major effects as well, in which can get as severe as lung cancer, emphysema, stomach cancer, so many more lethal effects. Once someone gets stuck in this position they are not forced to continue with a life of smoking even if they have produced an addiction the primary poison in cigarettes: nicotine. There are many options to take when you are serious about quitting smoking. You may simply have the will power to quit cold turkey with some support from your family and friends. However, if this method does not work for you, seeking help from a therapist or using nicotine products (such as gum, patches, etc.) may be the way to go.
