Description: The ears, nose, legs, and shoulders are black, and the rest is white.
Size: The male is 2-3 ft on all fours, but is up to six feet standing up. The female is about the same size but slightly smaller.
Habitat: The giant pandas live in bamboo forests of elevation of 3,600-10,000 feet. The giant pandas used to live on low lands but with humans ruining there home they were forced to move father up.
Diet: Mostly bamboo but they also have bulbs, grasses, and small animals.
Reproduction: They mate only in the spring, and the cubs are born 95-160 of fertilization, mostly two cubs are born but most of the time only 1 cub lives. Because there reproduction rate is so slow it is hard to build up there population.
Status- There is only about 1,000 left and about 130 of the pandas are in zoos and breeding centers.
Facts: They are thought to be very cute, but in reality they are as ferocious as bears.
