Black Rhino

The black Rhino lives in Mongolia and it is the largest land mammal. This mammal has two horns, and it stands four to five feet long and weighs 3,900 pounds. This mammal is endangered because of climate change. In addition, 65,000 black rhinos couldn’t be found in sub-Saharan Africa and 90 percent of the population was killed in eastern Africa. The black rhino may be the source of beliefs and legends such as the unicorn. Today, not only is black rhino is endangered but also all the other five species of rhinos are very close to extinction. Now there are less than 2,500 left in South Africa, Zimbabwe and other countries.
