Homeless people are obviously a disadvantaged social class. The safety that most of us are so used to that we hardly even realise how indispensable it is to our balance, is completely absent from their lives. Homeless children are wanting of the means to a decent life, a family, education or a chance to receive it in the future and evidently, a home. This is the stuff that a child needs to grow on. Without it, they become inescapably estranged, houseless and lost: rootless, roofless and routeless.

These children need all the help they can get, as they cannot, and don't know how to help themselves. Even when there is a solution to their problems, in the form of government resources or welfare services, more often than not, they are not aware that they have such possibilities to benefit from.

They too have the right to a better life. We believe that all people are born equal and they all deserve to lead a happy life. However, this is not always a matter of skills or wit, as it is idealised by today's society. Luck shines down on some of us, while neglecting others and facing them with inequitable adversities. It stands in our power to help them, each one according to their means and sense of philantropy. We need only open our minds.

This is why the time has come for the world to take heed. The fact that we are not confronted with these people does not make their problems inexistant or less serious. Informing as many people as possible regarding this plight is the first step towards a genuine sense of consciousness and, we hope, a real solution. This is why we have made this website.
