Jamie Foxx is a well known actor and singer. He was born on December 13, 1967 in Terrell, Texas. His grandparents adopted him when he was not even one year old after his parents got divorced. When he was young he enjoyed music and sports. He got a scholarship and went to U.S. International University in San Diego. He majored in music. After college he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career in comedy. In 1991 he was hired to be in a show call In Living Color. He was such a good actor they gave him his own show called The Jamie Foxx Show. He has one daughter named Corinne. He has stared in many well known movies such as: The Kingdom, Dream Girls, Miami Vice, Stealth, Ray, Collateral, Redemption, and Bait. He also has an album titled Unpredictable. He has preformed in American Music Awards, Good Morning America, TRL, Top of the Pops, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tonight Show and, MTV Music Awards. He is continuing his career in acting, singing and comedy.
