The Ghost Pickles; the Best of Friends
Four friends, one internet contest, one chance to win the prize of our teenage lives. This is the adventure of four girls- Effe, Erin, Kassie, and Paige- as they try to win the contest for thinkquest.com. This is the story of our long road to the top.
Effe: Hey! I’m Effe! And I’m one the very awesome members of the Ghost Pickles!!! I’m the crazy Greek chick in the group! I love my group (But I LOVE THE JONAS BROTHERS TOO!!!!!!) We’ve all been the best of friends since we did a puppet show for reading class together. Except for Erin… She joined our circle after we did the puppet show.
Kassie: WEEEEEE!!! Hi I’m Kassie (Also known as the crazy blonde in the Ghost Pickles)! We all worked really hard and had fun while we worked, Hope you have as much fun looking at our website as we did making it!!!
Erin: HI, I’m Erin and I what I love more than anything (except learning about ghosts) is PENGUINS (and my buddies!!!) I also love Fall Out Boy!!!
Paige: Hi I am Paige I am the horse crazy chick in my group!!! I came from Florida and I love Pennsylvania. Our group is so cool I love it! We are the best of friends! I am the one who came up with the Ghost Pickles. I LOVE Taylor Swift!
Effe: We all loved working together. We knew that this was going to be hard, but it was SO much harder than expected. But we’re really glad that we did this! Hey guys? Why did we even pick ghosts as our topic of research? It’s been so long that I forgot.
Erin: You know what? I honestly have don’t think I remember!
Paige: Wasn’t it because we all wanted to see that movie about Sarah Landon?
Kassie: Oh, yeah!!! Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour! That’s where we got the title from!!!
Effe: Yeah! And then we started talking about that movie, we got really into ghosts and supernatural things! That was before Mrs. Keiper, our Communication Applications teacher, told us about this Thinkquest contest!!
Kassie: Once we heard the prizes, we promised to each other that we would try to win!
Paige: Yeah, we really loved the idea of having our own web page on the internet. And we really thought that we could win!
Erin: I knew our group would do a good job! It really shows in our website! Although some of us were a little slow with things…
Effe: That’s me she’s talking about!!! It took me FOREVER to finish typing my share of documents!!! I’m so slow all the time, like Kassie!
Kassie: Hey!!!! Just because I’m blonde doesn’t mean I’m slow!!!
Paige: Yeah, it kind of does… Just kidding!!!
Erin: ANYWAY!!! Even though some of us did mess up a few times, the important thing is that we all had fun, right?
Paige, Kassie, and Effe: Right!!!
