Map of Italy

With a population of 58,147,733, Italy is one of the most groundbreaking countries in the development of the European economy. However, while they may be suited up with economic stability, the population lacks some necessary elements in their lives, such as fresh drinking water. Imagine what it would be like if:

~Only about 1 of the 100 people on your block are not able to read or write.

~80% of your friends at school have no siblings.

~You VERY rarely have new neighbors that move from different countries.

~With every breath you take, immense amounts of emissions such as sulfur oxide fills you lungs.

~Your uncle, who lives in Venice, is collecting money so that he can move before all of his life investments sink into the Adriatic Sea.

~Every time you go down to the river you spot dirty patches of water and garbage floating down.

Venice

~After every large rainstorm, there are dead fish floating in the lakes because of the immense amounts of acid rain.

~If the entire population of your country spread out over all of Italy's land mass, there would be about 198 people per square kilometer.

However, don't despair, your country has a plan to help patch up your messy environment. They have already signed or agreed to Antarctic-Environmental Protocol, Antarctic Treaty, Law of the Sea, and overall environmental improvement.
