Allergic rhitnis or severe inflammation of the nasal tissue that can cause hay fever. Lung disease caused by spores and thermopholic organisms found in moldy hay and straw.
Another hazard related to grains is working conditions of the people employed in this industry. Some workers in the grain industry can die because the flowing of grain can suffocate the worker in matter of seconds if he becomes caught in a vat of grain. Machinery is the main cause of deaths because of malfunctions of machines that have the ability of rotation. Accumulation of grain dust can also cause an explosion in the storage area.
