Everyday products that we use, enjoy, and believe to be harmless may actually cause major health problems and could be a risk to the health of the consumer. Products such as toothpaste, clothing, household cleaners, gasoline, produce, and meats consumed everyday can be dangerous and can be a hazard that needs to be recognized. Diseases and health complications can result from eating contaminated meats or produce. Also, toys are not all child-friendly; some may contain lead or other dangerous materials. There are major hazards that may result from drug and alcohol abuse of which consumers are unaware. There are solutions, however, to the contaminations, addictions, and hazards that are unseen in everyday products. We hope to show in this website that everyday consumer products can be potentially hazardous and precautionary steps need to be taken in order to insure the safety of the consumer.
