Welcome to our site. Our group name is the Crucibleers, we are focusing on the the background information about the Crucible. The Crucible is a play that a man named Arthur Miller wrote. It is based on an event in history called the Salem Witch Trials and McCarthyism.When we read this play in drama class we realized that there were a lot of differences from now and then from when the play was taken place. Like one of them was you were not aloud to dance and women had to wear their hair up. So as you see there were a lot of different things going on in that time (a lot more rules). After reading it we watched the movie "The Crucible" too, their were different perspectives of it but still it was like the play. Most of you that just read this probably don't know what we are talking about, then surf our site and find out new information that you didn't know before.
