Rocketplane Kistler
Rocketplane, Inc. is a company that makes reusable spacecraft. They are trying to provide cheaper ways for people to get into space and be transported around in space.
The company was formed by combining two other companies: Rocketplane Kistler, Inc. (or Kistler Aerospace, Inc.) and Rocketplane Global, Inc. (or Rocketplane Limited, Inc.).
By combining these companies, Rocketplane, Inc. got to use several different technologies that the companies had developed, which is helping it to find ways to get into space for less money. Right now, Rocketplane, Inc. is working on human and cargo transport.
Rocketplane, Inc. also has worked on a spacecraft called the K-1 "aerospace vehicle," which they want to try and send to the ISS eventually. The K-1 is special, because it is not made like an airplane, and uses things like parachutes to land, not wheels.
