Our mission

To begin with, we are the first European generation born after the fall of the Communism. However, we are still living in the shadow of the former political regime because we often hear about it from our parents and grandparents. But, we do not know what Communism actually represented and how that period was. Therefore, this is the main reason that determined us to choose this topic.

Also, we have chosen this issue in order to reveal the realities of the Communist system, its real intentions and the effects it had on the society. The number of human victims produced by the deficient application of the communist theory impressed us from the very first moment. Since then, we fixed our goal of showing the entire world the atrocities that the Communism caused so that everyone can get a clear view on the human drama that this regime provoked.

Most of the teenagers who were born after 1989 have no idea about the cruel dictatorships imposed by the Communist leaders. That is why, for many, this period seems to be only a part of the past. Actually, for the victims of this terror, the regime is still a very present chapter in their lives. Intellectuals, students, statesmen and villagers were imprisoned because they dared to oppose the system; they were considered guilty just for fighting to obtain their own freedom.

Theoretically speaking, the Communism promoted a perfect society where all the citizens were equal, had a proper job, disposed of social services and, last but not least, all the children had access to education. However, practically speaking, Communism was the tool used by a small group of people to subdue entire nations for their own benefit. In fact, people had no freedom or privacy; the electricity was restricted, all the food was rationalized and they could not trust each other because they were always afraid of Secret Services that had the power to destroy their lives. The system controlled the society politically, economically, socially and culturally.

In conclusion, we want to show and emphasize the impact of the Communism on the world, the conservative way of thinking which characterizes people who experienced Communism, the drama of the detainees that spent years in jails and camps being physically and mentally tortured. Thousands of children were infested with AIDS and thousand of women died due to the septic miscreants. Our mission is to reveal he mistakes of the past, to take attitude and to create a better world in freedom and democracy...
