Bystander monologue to Cathy james

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.First you have to read the class the Cathy James monologue By Wally Lamb

2.The the class will write their own monologue from Cathy James

3.Then you read the class the Bystander monologue.

4.Then let the class write their own bystander monologue from their own perspective. This will make their monologue be about somebody who witnessed the events the happened with cathy james.

5.Then you will give the class a monologue that another student wrote and then have the students find the three best sentences.

6.Then have them put the students put the sentences in order to make it sound like a story, so it sounds like a real monologue.
