The Holocaust
The Holocaust took place in January 1933, when Adolf
Hitler turned into the ruler of Germany, to when the war in Europe
ended in 1945. The Jewish people that lived in Europe were murdered so harshly
that in the end six million
Jewish people died, 1,500,000 of those Jewish people that died in the war
were still kids. The number of deaths of the Jews were 2 thirds of Europe
and
1 third
of
the worlds Jewish population. The Jewish people that were killed during World
War 2 wasn't
result of the war going on, they were the victims of Germanys attempt to
kill all the Jewish people in Europe, and that plan was called "The
Final Solution" which
was given the name by Hitler.
After Germany lost World War 1, it was humiliated by the Versailles Treaty,
which reduced its war territory and decreased its military forces, and
demanded for Germany to recognize its guilt for the war and pay for reparations
to the powered allies. The German Empire was destroyed and formed a new government
called Weimar Republic. The republic suffered due to an unstable economy. This
worsened after the New York stock market crashed in 1929. Then a massive unemployment
grew and political classes began to undermine the government.
On January 30 1933, Hitler who was the leader of the Nazi party was named
Chief minister, by the president of Germany Paul Von Hinderburg, after
the Nazi parliament
won the elections of 1932. The Nazi party took this chance to unrest in Germany
to get electoral foothold. The Nazis encouraged action clashes with the communist,
who a lot of people feared that they might disrupt a government for a demonstration,
they led bad rumors against the small and weak Weimar government, and the
Nazi party blamed the Jewish people for all the bad things that happended
to germany.
