Text Box: You or your teen may feel sad constantly or is always tearful. Being depressed creates a feeling of helplessness either because you don’t know how to fix your problem or your just stuck.

Text Box: You or your teen may have lost interest in things that you have once enjoyed. Let’s say you like to draw, then you get really sad and that is all you can think about. You wouldn’t want to draw anymore or you just don’t feel up to it.

Text Box: For teenagers, social lives are everything. Who you hang with, who you date. When you’re depressed, you can’t usually keep up with these things and who wants to date someone who is sad all the time? It’s going to be hard to keep up with everything.

Text Box: You or your teen may have withdrawn from the world but not exactly from everyone. A depressed teen would normally isolate themselves from their parents, socialize a lot less, try to hang out with different people, keep some friendships.
