The Nature Conservancy organization is trying to overcome the habitat destruction of our earth. More is at risk than we realize. By just destroying one forest thousands of animals are losing their homes so that we can build ours. But it's even more than just habitat destruction. We are putting wild animals in zoos for so many years and then just letting them go knowing that they don't have the skills that they had before they were put into the zoo. That's why so many species are on the brink of extinction. But then we realize that poaching, trapping, and hunting are also helping that. The Nature Conservancy organization is protecting areas in North America, Central America, the Carribean, South America, Asia Pacific, and Africa. But even with all these areas protected many other species are going to the brink of extinction as well.
