I am against zoos because I feel they do not meet these basic freedoms. I am against zoos because they do not have enough room for all the animals. The cage at the Sunset Zoo only had enough room for one but there were two.
Many animals die in zoos because they are not cared for very well. Over 30 animals die in a 4-month period. I hope that no more animals die because they are not cared for. Most of the animals that give birth to their babies have taken away. I will just put it this way, say that a zookeeper had a baby, how would they like it if they never got to see their child again. Animals are just like humans, only they have 4 legs and are a little hairier, they have feelings too.
Zoos only lock up poor little animals for the money they get to spend on themselves. If you were an animal and you were getting stared at all day, you probably would want to be left alone. If the animals cannot run away from the noise, how are they supposed to find peace and quiet. Noisy kids should not be allowed in zoos because they are disrespectful to the animals.
You do realize that when the animals are not very happy they will get out. When they are not happy they will attack. If a bear had trees and no fence on top he is going to get out and start to attack people.
If a zoo is not A.Z.A. accredited then it is not a very good zoo. Even though I really do not like zoos. I will go to them to spend time with my family. When my class went to the two zoos I saw for myself that zoos were bad for animals.
