Some email providers will have an option to see more details about an email sent or received. Using this feature, you can protect yourself by checking who actually sent the email.
Upon further examination of this email, you can see that this email was actually sent from a different site. Things are not what they always seem to be. As a result, it is always better to authenticate emails.
