Why "Haves & Have Nots" ?

Just 4 months before the competiton we were informed about ThinkQuest by our teacher Mrs.Archana Jain. With very little time in hand and our exams knocking at the door, we had to rush through our project. But to start the site first the foundation stone had to be laid. That is the topic had to be decided. We wanted our toic to be informative, of global scenario, related to students or in short capable of winning us the prize.

After thinking over this matter we realized that nothing was more important eradicating poverty.But 'Povery' seemed to be a reather boring and monotonous topic. So we decided to give it a twist by involving the Rich & Poor together. Our ideas were put together and gave shape to poverty in a new avtaar...rather Haves & Have Nots the rest is visible to your eyes....

Hi All ! I am Varun , a native of Orissa (India). To tell the truth, I am a complete computer geek. I just love computers and live for computers. As a matter of fact, I am a young Software Engineer and have developed several kinds of softwares. But when our teacher told me about ThinkQuest, I thought that it was an opportunity to prove myself at Web-Site Building. This is my second web-site but first one for a competiton.

In this site my main job was to design the site and code in HTML, JavaScript and CSS. I enjoyed building this site a lot but with the enjoyment, I had my own shocks, which drove me out of my skin. But I dealt with those and now the site is complete and ready. I hope you can see the hard work and efforts exerted by us.....

Hi! I am Shreyas native of Chennai, India. As a kid I was, actually am a big fan of cartoons. I have liked and grown up with them, and now it has become an addiction. I am not talking about seeing cartoons, but to try to make them.

I started learning flash by reading books two years ago and now I feel that I can do a lot more than just making cartoons, So i got involved in this web-designing work with my friends. And now I am here aspiring to bag this competition.

I am Hemang and I am 14 years old.I am a huge source of information so, in this web-site I was having the task of collecting resource materials, Information, Pictures and all other stuffs with a guarantee that they are purely Original.

This took a lot of time but I think it was worth this effort, time and patience. I also develop softwares like Varun and have designed quite a few but as I don't have strong base in HTML or JavsScript I took the duty of collecting Information.

Nimit

Hello ! I am Nimit and I live in Delhi, India. From my childhood days I had the quality to shorten long texts into small but informative ones.Even at school I shorten long answers of 2-3 pages to fit it into just a mere 1 page !

This quality of mine encouraged me to help my team in Editting the Information in such a way it would be both informative and genuine. This is how I managed to turn the bulky information by Hemang into small and informative information.

Hi all ! I am Om Shekhar and I reside in Delhi, India. I am an excellent and fast typer. So with so less time in hand and so much work to do, I took it upon myself to type the Information into the pages. This helped Varun to concentrate on his HTML work.

I enjoyed my work in the team a lot and I am looking forward to the fact that there are no typing mistakes in the text. It is always so fun to do the things at which you are good at.
