Exercise

The percentage of overweight people has doubled in the past 30 years. We are trying to get more people to stop lying around and get outside to start exercising. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), says that the average child watches about 3 hours of TV a day! And the average kid spends about 5 ½ hours on all media combined, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF).

Here are the current activity recommendations for children, according to the National Association for sport and Physical Education (NASPE):
