Introduction

European countries impose heavy taxes on energy usage. Norway taxes industries based on the volume of carbon dioxide they emit. In the Netherlands, alternative energy sources are promoted.

Greenhouse emissions can be reduced by conserving energy in buildings. Vehicles running on biofuel will help too. Paper can also be recycled instead being incinerated. Solving this global crisis starts with you!
