Global survey 2007

An interesting survey by Synovate and BBC World on 14000 people in 21 countries was carried out on climate change in February 2007. The results are as follow:

87% of Brazilians and 67% of Singaporeans were worried about climate change. The Russians were the least concerned while the Americans were the third least worried. Many people are not aware of the dangers of climate change. Therefore, the governments of all the countries should educate the public on its dangers and take a lead on solving this global crisis.

Many people are still rather ignorant about global warming. Many of them do not really comprehend the dangers of global warming. Hence, more publicity and educational materials are needed to reach the masses. There is no better place to begin than in school.
