Introduction
The circulation of nitrogen and its compounds in the environment is called the nitrogen cycle. This ensures the survival of the living things. Plants need nitrogen compounds such as nitrates or ammonium salts to grow.
Animals grow by obtaining nitrogen from the plant and animal proteins that they eat. |
