Highways help reduce traveling time. It helps commuters to get to school and to get to work everyday. It helps to transport goods from one place to another. However, such convenience comes at the price of deforestation.
However, there will be an increase in noise and air pollution due to the vehicles frequenting the highway. This can affect us adversely.
People, especially the indigenous people living near these highways, may be affected in their way of life.
