 Cell Phones
The cell phone also called wireless, mobile phones, hand sets, hand phone which is a long range electronic device that is used as communication with the network of base stations called cell phone sites. Now a days a standard services and accessories are there in a mobile phone like text messaging, e-mail, internet (GPRS) etc.

 Brain

The human brain broadly divided into the new brain (neo-cortex), the old brain (pale cortex), the cerebellum and the limbic system. The neo cortex is a sheet of tissue a few mm thick rich in nerve cell that covers two cerebral hemisphere. The right cerebral hemisphere is concerned principally with emotions, intuition and the arts. The left cerebral hemisphere deals with reason logic and science. Each cerebral hemisphere is divided into the frontal, parietal, occipital and temporal lobes.

Frontal lobe
It is responsible for the enthusiasm and drive, social nerves, behavior, reaction to varying situations, capacity to plan ahead and the occupation of skills in language.
Damage to this part of the brain leads to apathy, incontinence of thought and behavior with unrestrained show of emotions.

Parietal Lobe
Parietal lobe lies near the motor and sensory areas. Sensations from the opposite half of the body are recognized in this part. It also provides sense of space and keeps a person aware of different part of body in the relation to their surroundings. All that we see is perceived is, interpreted analyzed in the occipital lobe and store in memory. A person with extensive damage to his occipital lobe is blind despite having normal eyes.

Temporal Lobe
This part interprets, analyzed and stores sensation conveyed by the organs of smell and hearing. It is also concerned with the cognizance of speech memory is stored here.

SAR

Actually specific absorption rate is significant variable quantifying EMF interaction with human body and safety guide lines recommend limits on the maximum local SAR as well as on the whole body average SAR. Evaluation of SAR especially important when part of the body is exposed to electromagnetic radiation from nearby sources. When wave incident on biological objects, it penetrates and the field interact at the various tissues interfaces resulting in a complex distribution of the local fields, which depend on number of parameters including frequency, dielectric properties of the tissues, geometry and orientation of the objects with respect to the incident field vectors, and weather the exposure is in the near or far field of source. The concept of SAR is meaningful only in the frequency range between 100 KHz and 6-10 GHz, i. E. where the penetratiuon depth is of the order of 1 cm. Or more. At frequencies above approximately 6-10 GHz, the energy is absorbed superficially and incident density is important.

Computed distribution of the specific absorption rate (SAR) for the tissue model shown in the top row (right antenna activated): thalamus (green), grey matter (dark grey), white matter (white), CSF (cyan), cerebellum (brown), middle brain (light gray),muscle (dark orange), air (blue), skin (orange) and bone (yellow). Right: Typical exposuresetup. Subject sitting on a chair, head positioned between two plates to ensure a well- defined head position. Antennas were mounted on both sides of the head. Src

What is radiofrequency energy (RF)?

Radiofrequency (RF) energy is another name for radio waves. It is one form of electromagnetic energy that makes up the electromagnetic spectrum. Some of the other forms of energy in the electromagnetic spectrum are gamma rays, x-rays and light. Electromagnetic energy (or electromagnetic radiation) consists of waves of electric and magnetic energy moving together (radiating) through space. The area where these waves are found is called an electromagnetic field.

How The Phone Shield Works ?

The Phone Shield emits low frequency signals like a tuning fork that intercepts the interference from mobile phone radiation and restore the balance of our biophysical electrical activity.

Leakage of calcium ions into neurones generates spurious action potentials accounting for pain and other neurological symptoms in electro-sensitive individuals.

As of August 2005, there were more than 2 billion users worldwide.

mobile phones were first used in the 1900's.

In 1945, the zero generation (0G) of mobile telephones was introduced.

In 1983, Motorola DynaTAC was the second approved mobile phone by FCC.

In 1984, Bell Labs invented cellular technology, which employed multiple, centrally-controlled base stations.

The first commercial cellular network was launched in Japan by NTT in 1979.

The first "modern" network technology on digital 2G (second generation) cellular technology was launched by Radiolinja in 1991 . Nokia is currently the world's largest manufacturer of mobile phones.

India expects to reach 500 million subscribers by end of 2010.

Well-replicated studies have shown that weak electromagnetic fields remove calcium ions bound to the membranes of living cells, making them more likely to tear, develop temporary pores and leak.

DNAase leaking through the membranes of lysosomes explains the fragmentation of DNA seen in cells exposed to mobile phone signals. When this occurs in the germ line, it reduces fertility and predicts genetic damage in future generations.

Leakage of calcium ions into the cytosol acts as a metabolic stimulant, which accounts for reported accelerations of growth and healing, but it also promotes the growth of tumours.
