Introduction

Objective

To introduce a new generalized paradigm or approach of looking at global issues and events.

Rationale

Everyone needs a paradigm or a generalized map to look at the world we are living in. With the end of the Cold War, the old paradigm of looking at the world in terms of ideologies and alliances no longer work, and following that, it has been very hard for people to look at the world in generalized terms.

Target Audience

Our educational website is targeted mainly at teenagers and adults who have Internet access and are aware of contemporary global affairs and conflicts. These people should have Internet access to be fully updated on the recent happenings in the global scene as well as being able to consolidate the myriad of different opinions that are being posted on the Net. Equipped with these, they are able to come up with their own perspectives on various issues.

Since a conflict or event usually has multiple paradigms that converge upon it, the Internet is an appropriate medium for the target audience to broaden their perspectives on a single issue. Our target audience is also preferably literate and fluent in the English Language as it is the principal language of our website.
