This site uses many cutting-edge technologies, such as elements of Web 2.0. The use of Asynchronous Javascript and XML (AJAX) for content brings a greater amount of dynamism. All images, except those stated otherwise in the "Acknowledgements" section, are created from scratch using Adobe Photoshop CS3.
Besides looking clean and professional, this site sticks to strict accessibility guidelines and (X)HTML standards. This site validates as XHTML 1.1, CSS 2.1 and conforms to Section 508 of the Web Accessibility Guidelines. These standards are set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
This site recommends a minimum resolution of 1024x768 pixels, with 32-bit colour. If the user is browsing from a mobile phone or a text-based browser (i.e. Lynx), he/she will be redirected to the text/print version.
Many of the ideas found in this website can be highly similar to Mr. Samuel Huntington's theory presented in the Clash of Civilizations; however, the ideas introduced in this website are fundamentally different from Mr. Huntington's theory in terms of aim and presentation.
The website creators have no intention of supporting Mr. Huntington's theory and have no intention of plagiarizing Mr. Huntington's ideas. Besides the idea of "cutting up the world into civilization pieces", and that civilizational conflicts can be explained by cultural factors, this website had borrowed no other ideas propounded by Mr. Huntington in his book. Any similarity would have to be unintentional coincidences, and we apologize for these oversights.
