Having asthma is nothing to be ashamed about. Statistics show that an estimated 300 million people suffer from asthma worldwide. Among these 300 million are many faces you may recognize.

Bill Clinton	42nd U.S. President [1993-2001] who suffers from severe allergies which, in turn, influence asthma.
Lindsay Lohan	Hollywood actress (since she was three years old) that suffers from asthma. However, she doesn't let it get in the way.
Jerome "The Bus" Bettis	Former halfback for Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers. Became known for the quote: "Asthma doesn't stop the Bus, and it doesn't have to stop you."
Juwan Howard	Currently on the NBA's Dallas Mavericks.
John F. Kennedy	35th U.S. President [1961-1963], youngest U.S. president to serve thus far. Had asthma but did not let that bring him down.
Christopher Reeve	Famous for playing Superman.
Nancy Hogshead	Winner of three Olympic Gold Medals in swimming yet she has asthma.
Ludwig van Beethoven	A German composer, who became deaf (in addition to having asthma) yet still was able to conduct and compose music.

Billy Joel	A pianist and a lyricist, six-time Grammy winner, and had records in the top 10 in the '70s, '80s, and '90s.
Ricki Lake	American actress and talk show host; starred in Hairspray.
Antonio Vivaldi	A music composer and violinist, best known for his Four Seasons.
Jason Alexander	Singer, actor, director, and dancer. Starred in Seinfeld.
Dennis Rodman	Currently on the NBA's Chicago Bulls.
Dominique Wilkins	NBA player, nicknamed "Human Highlight Film".
