World Food Programme
The WFP, a branch of the United Nations, is the largest human aid organization in the world providing aid to those who need it most. in 2006 they reached out to almost 100 million people and provided them with neccesary aid. With your help through donations they will be able to help many more of those who are needy.
According to the WFP’s website:

- Save lives in refugee crises and other emergencies
- improve nutrition and quality of life of world's most vulnerable people at critical times in their lives

Friends of the World Food Program
The friends of the world food program is a very large US based organisation whcih aims to tackle issues regarding to malnutrition. It has done work all around the globe and has formed partnerships with many other global organisations which aim to target the same problem. Their goals are stated on their website as:

This is what Save the Children has to say about malnutrition: “Save the Children mobilizes communities and partner organizations to address the root causes of food insecurity, targeting the most vulnerable, usually young children and their mothers. We work with children and their communities to develop their capacity to respond to and solve their most pressing food security problems. Food aid and monetary resources are used to manage programs focused on improving agricultural production and household nutrition, as well as responding to emergency needs. Save the Children carefully targets where food is distributed during an emergency, as has been the case in Ethiopia and Sudan.”
World For World Organization
The WFWO is a Italian based internationally operating organization that aims to reduce poverty as well as HIV/AIDS through providing better global awareness and education. Their goals are stated as: "With clear objectives is to increase public awareness about Global Development Issues...which range from halving extreme poverty to halting the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing universal primary education"
Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition
GAIN is one of the leading organisations in the fight against malnutrition. It is a global alliance of governments and organisations which aims to eliminate malnutrition. It has partners within the food industry, United Nations and world governments. To quote GAIN’s website: “GAIN works to improve the nutritional status of 1 billion people to save lives and reduce disease; improve individual wellbeing, enjoyment and productivity; and thereby reduce poverty and stimulate economic growth.
We focus on reducing the prevalence of micronutrient deficiencies among target groups by increasing the regular consumption of fortified foods.“
Oxfam is the largest organization in Australia aiming to reduce worldwide poverty and social prejudice. It is not-for-profit and non-religious. It’s vision according to the website goes as follows: “Oxfam Australia's vision is of a fair world in which people control their own lives, their basic rights are achieved and the environment is sustained.
We aim to increase the number of people who have a sustainable livelihood, access to social services, an effective voice in decisions, safety from conflict and disaster, and equal rights and status.“
World Vision is one of the largest charitable organisations in the world spanning across six continents. Since the 1950's it has been providing humanitarian aid to impoverished areas of the world. By donating money to this charity, money will help alleviate hunger, break the poverty cycle and bring hope. According to the website this is their goal: "World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice."
Alliance for a Healther Generation
One of the greatest threats to the developed world is childhood obesity. Often kids who become overweight cannot grow out of this. It is therefore wise to target eating and exercise habits early on. According to their website their mission is: "To eliminate childhood obesity and to inspire all young people in the United States to develop lifelong, healthy habits."
