OVERPOPULATION
What is overpopulation?
Overpopulation is to increase the population density of a
place so much that the amount of food, water and land is insufficient in
providing resources. The term overpopulation is usually refers to the
relationship between humans and their environment.
What causes overpopulation?
High birth rates also contribute to the over
population crisis. Large areas of land can support only small numbers of people
because of these labour-intensive subsistence activities. The number of people
on a one piece of land is determined by how much the land can provide. Stress
on available resources is also another reason some areas of land become heavily
overpopulated.
Where is overpopulation most common?
Overpopulation is common in places in North
America like the U.S. Places in Africa Ethiopia, Niger,
Nigeria
and Zimbabwe
as well. Continents like Europe
in Belgium
and The Netherlands and in places, in Asia
like Bangladesh
and Japan.
The Western Countries as well are affected.
