Meet the team!

Jayden:  

Hey, my name is Jayden. I'm 12 and I'm in year 7. I live on Bribie Island, in QLD, Australia. My hobbies are playing soccer, watching TV and also eating chocolate. When I found out that I was accepted into the gifted and talented think quest comp I was honoured.

My main role in this was to publish this website and also make a page on Global warming. This competition was challenging because we were given a certain amount of time to complete this. Also this comp has taught me more things about creating websites and shown me  how to do more things on the computer.

I would like to say a huge thankyou to my coach Mrs Kippen for taking her time to help me and my group. She has helped us to become better on computers.

Natasha:

Hi my name is Natasha and I live on Bribie Island, in Queensland,  Australia. I’m 12 years old and I’m in 7th grade. I love to draw and I love to cook. I also love soccer and lawn bowls. In my family there are 6 other people; my mother, my father and my four sisters. My favourite colours are pink, black and red. Two of my most favourite past times are collecting shells and making/designing my own magazines.

My role in making this website was to make the extras and to write the page about air pollution. I loved doing this work because it was so much fun. 

During the competition time we faced some minor problems. One of the most annoying problems was when the program encountered a problem and it shut down with out us saving. I absolutely loved working with this group because we had so much fun. I'd like to thank Mrs Kippen (our coach) for helping us get through this, Jayden who put his time and effort into making the website and Alastair who also put is time into researching for information and pictures. Thanks guys, I had so much fun!

Alastair:
Hi, my name is Alastair and I go to Banksia Beach State School. I live on Bribie Island, Australia. I am 12 years of age and in grade 7. I enjoy playing runescape, soccer and also handball.

I did the greenhouse gases topic on this website. Jayden and Natasha were the main contributors to the production of this website.

I think that our group chose this topic was because it is an important topic that needs to be addressed and one of the best ways to stop global warming is through education
and awareness.
