When You Come Face to Face With a Phobia
When you have to face your phobia, you may have
physical, mental and emotional reactions.
Some of the physical reactions are sweating, lightheadedness,
dizziness, suffocationg sensation, hot cheeks, and locked knees.
Mental reactions include hearing voices, thinking that people are
staring at you and no one is coming to your help, thinking all negative
and no positive thoughts, and only picturing the thing you are afraid
of.
The emotional reactions include feeling as though you are going to die,
absolute dread, an overpowering need to leave a certain place,
helplessness, spacy, weird, feeling detached from the body, feeling as
though you are going to explode, anxiety, and frightening thoughts,.
