Did U Know?
Air conditioning uses 10 times more energy than a fan, therefore, it creates 10 times the pollutants.

Image:Plastiktueten.jpgWhat is the meaning of reusing? Reusing is the method of using the same thing over and over again, for another different purpose. (e.g. you have a shirt that is already torn, and you reuse it as a rag for cleaning the table.) or for the same one (E.g. If you have an old shirt that can still be worn, and you give it to your friend to wear it again, you are reusing something for the same purpose.) Why does reusing help to save and help our environment? This is because reusing can avoid or slow down the process of a product being turned into waste. Also, it can reduce the number of new products being bought. (New items will not need to be bought if the old ones are still being used)

If you help and part a part in reusing, you are not only helping the environment, you are also helping yourself. If you reuse certain items, you do not have to buy another one. Thus, you are helping to save money! Often, you reuse without even knowing it. If you often reuse unwanted newspaper for purposes such as using it for art lessons and also reuse plastic bottles for containing mineral water during outings, then you are reusing.

All of us can play a part to help reuse materials. You just need to put in some effort. What’s more, you will also be able to save money! Do you know that about 2-5% of those entire waste buried can actually be reused? That means we are actually throwing away these potential materials!

In this section, we will discuss more ways to recycle. You can use other materials that Image:Electric Fan 720x1070.jpgare unwanted anymore to create new stuffs! There are many examples! In the section called “Fun Activities”, we will also recommend you a few list of activities that involves using unwanted materials to be made into new products, (the activities are suited for children) which is also reusing.

Have you ever been to a second-hand shop before and bought something from there? If you had, then you are also reusing. If you do not want any items but they can still be used, sell them to the 2nd hand shop. You can make money and also help to prevent these products being turned into waste. At the same time, while those items that you had sold may be something that other people like.

That is all for reusing. But if you have any suggestions, please contact us.
