The reason why electricity is so important is because of its uses. We use electricity almost all the time, especially in home appliances. Think of the moment when you wake up in an extremely ordinary morning. When you feel hungry, you take out a slice of bread and place it in a toaster to toast. This is an example of the use of electricity. We also use it in air-conditioning. Can you imagine a whole summer without your air-conditioner because electricity is not supplied to your home? Well, you would have been quite dead. We also use it in computers and refrigerators. Most importantly, we use it in lights. Without electricity, the whole Earth would be in darkness during the night!

The uses of electricity can never be counted using only our fingers and toes and that is why we must start to save electricity so as to ensure that we have enough electricity to last us forever and ever.
