Timeline:

1891-1900: He was born in vietnam under his father who was a confucian scholar, he had 3 siblings. He developed anger at the occupying french and felt that they treated the vietnamese wrong and disliked their monarch government.

1911-1920: He traveled to france to apply to school but was rejected and worked menial jobs there, while there he studied history books and newspapers to familiarize himself with the western world. He then went to the united states and followed the same path, where he is believed to have met Korean Nationalists which would help him develop his political oulook.

1921-1930: He moved to china and gave lectures about revolutionary movements in china, showing that he favored communism.

1931-1940: Ho Chi Minh is arrested by the british police in 1931 and was released in 1933. He spent some years in the Soviet Union recovering from Tuberculosis and later went back to China to serve as an advisor for the Chinese Communist Armed Forces. He returned to his homeland of Vietnam and lead many revolutionary battles and achieved many victories agaisnt the french.

1041-1950: He took control of the country and forced the countries leader to abdicate where he became the chairman of the new communist Vietnam.

1951-1960: In 1953 france was forced to give up it's control in Indo-China.

1961-1970: North and South Vietnam temporarily open their borders to let the people that want to migrate to the other country go. Many people left north Vietnam, and very few left from south Vietnam to go north. In 1969, Ho Chi Minh dies, he is left embalmed on display in a mausoleum.


 

Ho Chi Minh grew up with 3 brothers and sisters, his dad was a confucian scholar, they lived in Vietnam. He grew up under his father and saw injustices from the french and grew to dislike a monarch form of government. He spent a very long period of his life roaming around the world studying western culture and philosophy.

He returned to Asia after many menial jobs and much studying and helped teach the philosophy he had learned, until he was imprisoned for 2 years. Eventually he would return to his home country after battling tuberculosis for some odd years.

He coordinated many resistance battles against the French and eventually would become the leader of the Democratic Rebublic of Vietnam. He died in 1969.

Ho Chi Minh was seen in the eyes of his people as a liberator, he freed his people from the french and it is seen that he was and still is celebrated as his embalmed body is still on display. He spent many years learning and studying as well as had decent secondary schooling. He was an excellent leader and helped to improve the quality of life in Vietnam.

The Vietnamese unification followed, he cared deeply for his people and had much of his fathers confucian traditions still ingrained in him. He was an excellent leader who opened the borders before the country was unified to let whoever wanted to leave do so, as well as for South Vietnam.

On Ho Chi Minh's death, he died of heart failure some years before his countries unification, and lies embaulmed in a mausoleum.
