Lily is a hippo that cannot do anything without being loud! At school Lily's friends get mad at her because she is too loud. Back at home she wakes up the baby and everyone thinks she's too loud. One day Lily got a new teacher, Miss Loopiola. Miss Loopiola decides to put on a class play. On the day of the rehearsals Miss Loopiola taught the kids how to do the fast stomping dance. Lily did it very quietly! Miss Loopiola told Lilly to stomp louder! Lilly really liked Miss Loopiola because she appreciated her loudness. Lily's jobs in the play were to crash the cymbals, play the drums, sing a song or two and act like a wild animal.
If you would like to see how the night of the play goes read Too Loud Lily by Sofie Laguna. This book has great illustrations that are a lot of fun.I recommend this book for a Primary read aloud and to anyone who likes to be loud!
