Ganesh

Ganesh is one of the great Hindu gods. He was given birth by a goddess named Parvati. The reason Parvati created Ganesh is because Shiva was disturbing her when she was trying to bathe. She wanted somebody to guard the house for her while she was bathing and she wanted this somebody to listen to only her, unlike others who listened to Shiva. For that reason she could not do the thing that she wanted to because she also had to guard her apartment doors. Therefore she had given birth to Ganesh, who could guard her apartment door. She told Ganesh to not to let anyone in. There was one problem here. Lord Shiva, Parvati's husband did not know that Parvati had given birth to Ganesh. Then Lord Shiva had finally come back. Ganesh also did not know Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva asked to enter but Ganesh had to say no because Parvati had told her to not to let anyone in. Soon, Lord Shiva got enraged because Ganesh's impudence and took out his sword and cut off Ganesh's head. Once Parvati found out, she came in rage. Lord Shiva was sad and sweared to cut off the first animals head he sees and put in on Ganesh's body.
