Why should Nuclear Energy be used? Even though Nuclear Energy might be very harmful to the environment, many people have been using nuclear energy for many uses. There is a possibility that nuclear energy might be used on the shuttle called the Orion. Nuclear energy has a longer process than many other energies. But when it comes to the future of energy, nuclear energy is one of the energies on the top of the list.

Nuclear Energy has a very bad effect to the environment. The uranium is heated inside the tank which can give burns and can make mutations it the uranuim is spilled. The radioactive material is the cause. Nuclear energy can also power weapons which is very dangerous. The nuclear-powered bombs could explode and cause a huge reaction to the environment. Nuclear tanks are used to store the very hot uranium. All this happens in a nuclear power plant.

There is a possible chance that Nuclear energy might be used on the Orion. Nuclear energy is dependable on the sun like solar energy. That way, if you stay close to the sun you will get a better chance of energy with more power in it. Nuclear energy can also power the shuttle faster, making it go two-thirds faster than usual on a journey to Mars. Nuclear energy can be converted into electric and heat energy. It might have a very long process, dangerous to the environment and very expensive but nuclear energy definitely has a purpose in terms of energy.
