The Forms of Solar Energy

Thanks to science we can change solar energy into other types of energy. Thermal energy - Thermal energy is heat energy. Heat causes motion in atoms and molecules. An easier definition is a lot of heat can turn solids into liquids and liquids into gasses. Also heat can pass through objects. For example, if you touch the stove you will feel the stove's heat. In other words the stove's heat passed to you. You can measure heat with a thermometer.

Electrical energy- There is two types of electrical energy. One is current electricity and the other is static electricity. Electricity is electrons moving from one atom to another. Current electricity follows a certain path. If the path is broken the electricity stops. Static electricity is made by rubbing two objects such as wool, and a balloon. Static gathers electrons and then lets the electrons out. Before we have used fossil fuel to use electricity but now we have a more reliable process into making electricity called photovoltaic. Photovoltaic is another way into turning solar energy directly into electricity.
