The Contributions NASA Has Made

Over the years NASA has helped the country by doing things such as using satellite pictures to show how the landforms and weather patterns have changed. We want to show some of the many things NASA has done. First is the solar panel. Now we have ways of powering machines and get electricity without damaging the environment. Also we wouldn't have to pay men to dig up oil. Also, the oil is polluting the air and is making hard to breath. If solar panels weren't here then some people would still have to pay electrical bills. Mylar make a very light yet warm blanket. On the moon solar power is the only way to have electricity.

Next is WORF (World Observation Research Facility). WORF takes pictures of Earth from space. They take a look at the landforms to see what changed in the landforms and predict what will happen. Without them we couldn't know if the landforms are having erosion or if a hurricane is getting stronger or weaker. This way we would also be able to predict natural disasters and we would know when to get ready and leave the country, city etc.

NASA has also made the first diapers. It was so they could use the bathroom up in space. Now babies wear diapers until they can learn to control themselves. These are only some of the many ways NASA has made life easier. They also have promise to come up with more stuff in the future.NASA still has more things to contribute such as the different ways plants can grow on the moon. Also if plants and objects act differently on the moon then we can create more inventions. We support NASA because they are always working ahead and since most of their projects take 10 to 20 years. We need the kids to know because in 20 years kids will be adults who might work for NASA. So we think its best we get them interested and started in their creations now.
