NASA Webcast
Our team also was in contact with NASA for another webcast. On webcast we were quizzed on the past, present, and future of NASA. We also learned mor about the Orion Capsule and project Ares. Ryan our host told us about how NASA began in 1958 and Mercury and Gemini were the first space programs. He also told us about the Apollo sereies and how it went to the Moon. We learned president John F. Kennedy made a speech in Texas that he wanted NASA to go to the moon in 1952. 6 years later that dream was made into reality.
The present situation is the ISS (The International Space Station) is being built by the 16 countries which are involved. The Atlantis, Cloumbus, and Endeouver are going up to the ISS to attatch all the parts Japanese Green House, the Columbus module and more. The future of NASA happens to be the results of mission Orion. Exploring of the moon and getting involved with Mars is what NASA is looking forward to. The more latest results of Earths' analysis is also what NASA wants to know. We were wuizzd ont which were the first NASA programs. The dates of lift off for the Orion and the Apollo going to the Moon.
