This website was designed by Noe, Khanh and Brandy. Three people who started out as strangers and collaborated together to end up as friends. Two of our teammates had a parent with heart problems. Living in southwest Kansas there is no specialized medical care for patients with heart problems. Learning about technology that could help people in our community and people of all over the world was very interesting and educational.

Not everything always went as we wanted it to. Our biggest enemy was having the entire team together to work on our website. It was really hard to predict how much time it takes to create a website, we thought it was going to take a lot less time. We had some trouble sometimes with putting in backgrounds because we did not know what format to use. We changed our minds about which images to use. We used Macromedia Dreamweaver to build our site and in the final weeks the program stopped working on the laptop due to technical difficulties, so we had to start on a new laptop. We had some trouble getting Khanh to come on time, because he was always asleep at home. Brandy sometimes had to work so she couldn’t be here all the time. Noe doesn’t have a job so he could come most of the time.

We were very lucky that Debbie, our program director, managed to get us an interview with Dr. Thrasher. So we want to thank Dr. Thrasher because he is the only robotic surgeon that took time off of his busy schedule to talk to us.

During the time we worked on our website Khanh taught Noe how to build backgrounds from scratch using Photoshop.

Through out the website design Noe, Khanh and Brandy did a little bit of everything. We not only were able to learn how to use new software but we also were able to learn some unexpected things. We taught each other about our lives and culture. The experience was incredible and we all appreciate the opportunity we had to learn new things.

Esta sitio fue diseñado por Noe, Khan y Brandy. Tres personas que empesaron como desconosidos y terminaron como amigos.

No todo sucedio como queriamos. Nouestro enemigo mas grande fue el tiempo. Tubimos problemas poniendo las imagenes. Cambiamos las imagenes que teniamos varias veces. Usamos Macromedia Dreamweaver para aser nuestro sitio, pero el programa paro de funcionar en nuestra computadora, asi que empesamos de Nuevo en otra computadora. Tubimos problas en tener a Khanh trabajando porque siempre estaba dormido en casa. Algunas veces Brandy tenia que trabajar y no podia venire a trabajar en nuestro sitio. Noe no trabaja asi que el si podia estar aqui la mayoria del tiempo.          

Tubimos mucha suerte cuando Debbie, nuestra directora del programa, pudo obtenernos una entrevista con el sirujano robotico Dr. J Brantley Thrasher. Asi que queremos darle las gracias al Dr. Thrasher por que fue el unico sirujano robotico que quiso tomar su tiempo para abler con nosotros.

Durante el tiempo que estubimos asiendo nuestro sitio Khanh le enseño a Noe como crear imagenes usando Photoshop.

Durante el processo Noe, Khanh, y brandy isieron un poco de todo. Aprendimos a usar los programas de la computadora y tambien unas cosas inesperadas. Nos enseñamos un poco aserca de nuestras vidas y cultura. La experiensa fue incredible y appresiamos la oppurtinidad de apprender nuevas cosas.
