Media and thin models impact society negatively, since psychologically the mind feels a need to be like the perfect body image advertised by the media and thin models. Negative body image affects humans both psychologically and physically. It affects them psychologically, in the way that the human mind feels a need have an image like what is advertised, sometimes being an image that may never be reached. The mind finds ways to have that image, which are solutions that affect the body physically. Physical impacts to the body are caused by improper dieting.  One of the common ways is skipping meals or vomiting what they ate to prevent gaining weight. The people with this disorder are either very thin or obese most of the time. These solutions that are used as quick, easy solutions lead to diseases and illnesses that can cause your body system more harm.  You could have prevented these health issues if you made better choices. Quick solutions have quick results, but many times harmful depending on the issue. For a better body image it is best to choose healthy solutions that bring health results, like:

 

 

Remember, you don’t lose anything by trying; you lose more if you decide to fail. So live healthy, because beauty is not everything. You don’t live many years because you’re beautiful, you live many years because you’re healthy. Beauty comes within the heart and not from being super thin like models or media say it is.
