Our Thinkquest 2008 team is made up of students Sydney, Madeline, Scott, Noah, Jackson, and Kyle. Adult coaches include Mrs. Kathi Aitchison and Dr. Eric Lin. We all enjoy living in Northern California. Our team was very serious, because our subject is serious, and we worked hard researching, drawing, writing and designing. We met during our lunch break and after school to complete this project. Our group worked well together even though we had strong opinions about our subject and how to design our website. Despite our serious subject and strong opinions, we always made time for fun. Best of all, we have become great friends.

We considered war, pollution, and animals before we came up with the topic of MRSA. First, we spent time together learning about this serious disease. Next, we thought about what we are good at and what we each enjoy. Then, we split into two groups, game designers/researchers and artists/writers. Scott and Noah were the two game designers/researchers. They did research to pass on to the writers, and they designed our game. Sydney, Madeline, Jackson, and Kyle were all writers/artists. They designed MRSA characters. Sydney wrote sections on Treatment and Animals. Madeline wrote our Collaboration and assisted others with writing. Jackson wrote sections on History, Prevention, and helped Sydney with the section on Animals. Kyle wrote sections on Definition, Diagnosis, and World Impact. All team members collaborated on the web design and music background for the MRSA Animation page. The beautiful music played in the background when you first saw our animation was all original. Kyle played the piano while Jackson, Sydney, and Noah did the voices in the background.
