Secondary Information

How can we slim ourselves? By exercising? By dieting? Other methods? Which one is the most convenient way to slim? Let us have a look.

Exercises

Not all kinds of exercises can be used for slimming. Those can is called the aerobic exercises.

Q: What is aerobic exercise?
A: Aerobic exercise means the kind of exercise involves oxygen consumption by the body. E.g. Jogging, swimming, fencing etc.

We can also do exercises through video games!!

Wii Fit

In Wii fit, there are about 40 different activities, including yoga poses, push-ups, and other exercises. There were also some aerobic exercises such as running, hula hula etc. After doing each exercise, you will get point(s). When you reach an amount of points, the game will remind you that it’s enough for you today! In this way, you can play and do exercise at the same time.

 

Dieting

There's no need to eat less food because you want to be slim. You just need to have a balance diet.

What is a balance diet?

First, a balance diet MUST include the four main kinds of food: Five grain, meat, milk products which include calciums and vegetables and fruits. Second, we should use less oil and try to steam more. Last but not least, we should not skip meals. We should keep our body healthy. We can eat some low in calories but can fulfill your hunger.

I've searched some diet plans and I decided to make one. Here is a diet plan created by me!! Hope it can help you.

 

Day 1

Breakfast: A piece of cake and a bottle of skimmed milk

Lunch: Half bowl of rice+ half plate water-boiled vegetables+ tea/coffee(without milk and sugar)

Snack: A low-fat youghurt and a packet of biscuits

Dinner: Vegetables and fruits salad+ a piece of soup lean meat

Day 2

Breakfast: A bowl of wholegrain cereal and a piece of toast with low-fat spread

Lunch: Potato salad+ an orange+ tea/coffee( without sugar and milk)

Snack: Half cup of vanilla ice cream

Dinner: Canned-salted tuna+ a piece of toast+ tea/coffee( without sugar and milk)

Day 3

Breakfast: a piece of toast and half bowl of wholegrain cereal with skimmed milk

Lunch: a banana + a cup low-fat youghurt+ two pieces of biscuits

Snack: two hot dogs+ a hot-boiled egg

Dinner: two pieces of meat (about 3 Oz)+ a grapefruit

Day 4

Breakfast: an apple+ a piece of low-fat cheese

Lunch: Crackers with tuna spread+ tea/coffee (without sugar and milk)

Snack: 10 pieces of grapes

Dinner: half bowl of noodles+ some vegetables+ honeydew (1/2)+ a cup of strawberry flavoured ice cream

Day 5

Breakfast: a piece of cracker+ half bowl of wholegrain cereal

Lunch: half bowl of rice+ half pieces of broccoli+ tea/coffee (without milk and sugar)

Snack: an orange+ a cup orange juice

Dinner: Fruit salad+ two pieces of soup lean meat+ a cup of low-fat youghurt
