1. Old Chinese characters

The development of Old Chinese characters: 

Chinese words have a long history of more than 3500 years. So Chinese words changed with time under the influence of different cultures, regions, and even politics. Briefly, there are several forms of Chinese characters. Here we have a short introduction about the different old Chinese words in different stages. And all these words below mean "Dragon!" 

The different forms of old Chinese Characters:  Oracles characters(1766 BC to 1122 BC) Bronze characters (1122 BC - 221 BC) Seal characters (221BC to 200AD) And then Chinese words entered the stage of  Modern characters 

1. Oracles characters 

(The oldest Chinese words which are found as the  inscriptions on the bone or shell )

            

           

           

2. Bronze characters (The words inscribed on bronze ware as the important inscription of major events at that time. )

           

   

3. Seal characters (A standard set of official characters created by the prime minister named "LiSi" and thenl developed into different characters)

           

           

The analsis of Old Chinese characters:

We can find dragons' heads and horns, and mouths, bodies and tails from this Seal character.

On the left side of the old Chinese character, we can see a dragon’s head and horn, and feet. And the right side of the word is like tails.

After 200 AD, Chinese characters entered the stage of Modern Characters, and this is the Chinese word " Dragon" we use now.
