Mythology refers to a collection of myths
and tales which
are believed to be true. It may explain supernatural events taking place
to interpret relation between the nature, universe and humanity.
Myth
Myth is basically a sacred story concerning the origin of world, humans and how the creatures came to earth. The active beings in a Myth are basically heroes, gods and mythological creatures. Myths often said to take place before the recorded history begins.

How Did The Myths Formed?
All cultures have developed over time their own myths, consisting of narratives of their history, their religions, and their heroes. The great power of the symbolic meaning of these stories for the culture is a major reason why they survive as long as they do, sometimes for thousands of years. Robert Graves, an English poet, agreed that myths are generated by the cultural needs of the society.
